Visited Several Western US canyons, Grand, Glen, Bryce, and Zion and stayed in the canyons during the trip. This included bus rides, boat rides, airplane ride and a river raft trip (no rapids:). There was some moderate hiking but anything a bit longer or tougher was optional. Met a lot of good people on the trip we all were wowed by the views.

Most Memorable Moment:

I guess sun rise at Bryce Canyon. The light would expose different aspects of the view. I got a lot of nice shots. It was just a short walk from the room to see the magic.

Flew to Phoenix met at airport by driver for Tauck who picked up my luggage and drove to Four Season Hotel in Scottsdale. From the time I arrived was free from planning, care of luggage, and transportation until tour ended at Las Vegas airport. Great food, nice accommodation and entertainment provided plus lovely scenery.

Most Memorable Moment:

Monument Valley and stones that looked like mushrooms plus always the Grand Canyon. The last night saying goodby to new friends and already receiving email from them not even a week after tour ended. This was my 5th tour with Tauck and have one scheduled in January. I am 79 traveling alone, they make it so easy and fun.

Most Memorable Moment:

Make sure you do not miss the Monument Valley flight and land tour!! At first we did not book it, but decided on the bus to book at the last minute. So glad we did!! Definitely a tie for most memorable moment. One was our first glimpse (ever) of the Grand Canyon from the overlook by the visitor's center. Words can't describe it and pictures don't do it justice. The other was the rafting trip through Glen Canyon on the Colorado River. Our guide was amazing and the scenery/wildlife breathtaking.

Having traveled the world in 85 countries but never our western national parks in Arizona and Utah we were awed by the beauty of the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. Add in the Lake Powell area, the Navajo Nation of Monument Valley and the Colorado River rafting down the Glen Canyon this had to be one of our most enjoyable and memorable trips

Most Memorable Moment:

There were so many including flying over Lake Powell and visiting Monument Valley in the Navajo Reservation. Also, the Colorado River rafting experience and seeing the Glen Canyon Dam. We will also remember our Tour Director for her knowledge, humor and excellence who made this a wonderful vacation trip. Thanks Tauck!

Most Memorable Moment:

The area of the Canyonlands includes incredible, majestic, unbelievable etc. sights. Anyone who can get there can enjoy the beauty and wonder. What makes it even more memorable is the "how" you get there: stress-free, in comfort, best locations, prime viewing sites, no lines, great meals and the extras that Tauck includes. Guide was superb.

Most Memorable Moment:

During float trip on Colorado, the guide brought the pontoon to a stop, turned off the motor. We sat there in silence, surrounded by majestic rock walls, blue sky, clear water, and a humbling sense of the history and the power of the place.

Most Memorable Moment:

Our tour director, Don, was excellent in his knowledge of the history of the area, including all Indian tribes, the Mormon settlers, the geography and botanical trivia, which made all of it come alive. He also took excellent care of us. This was our first trip into the area and we found it very exciting. I would do it again in a second.

Most Memorable Moment:

The flight into the Navajo reservation and the bus tour into Monument Valley conducted by a native Navajo daughter stands out among many memorable moments. Just riding over John Wayne Road from the movie "Stage Coach" and seeing all the monuments I've seen in so many westerns did it for me.

Took this trip in September 2013,and loved it. Accomodations at Four Seasons Hotels exceeded our expectations. Great to stay inside all the National Parks a stone's throw away from the rim of the canyons, able to see the sunrise and/or sunset. Charlie our guide was well-informed, friendly and helpful, as was our driver Mike.

Most Memorable Moment:

Bryce Canyon should be on everyone's bucket list. The formations of the Hoodoos indescribable!Look at our screensaver from Bryce all the time! Antelope Slot Canyon,is amazing how the light filters through and creates these effects. Irene, a Native-American guide was extremely helpful in adjusting everyone's camera to get the best pics!

1st Tauck tour, exceeded expectations. Trip was scheduled to give enough time to view each location and not feel rushed. Varied parks gave incredible insight to area. The fact of staying inside parks at lodges offered more options, such as sunrises and sunsets, meal times and shading on canyons at various times of day.

This was our first Tauck tour, but won't be our last! Of course, the locations visited were spectacular, but our guide, Don, was funny, knowledgeable, and handled the logistics seamlessly. Our driver, Roger, was great, too. We were also surprised by how easy it was to be with a group of strangers for a week. By the end, we were all good friends!

Most Memorable Moment:

Hard to pick just one, but rafting on the Colorado was pretty special.

The Canyonlands are an experience that has to be done in person. Tauck provides a unique and first class quality tour with a knowledgeable and informed director that oversees all aspects of the trip. From staying right on the South Rim to rustic lodging in the National Parks (difficult to reserve) to marvelous selections of food, it is memorable.

Most Memorable Moment:

Seeing the Grand Canyon for the very first time is breathtaking. One cannot describe the beauty or vastness of the region. All of the National Parks on this tour are special and unique with scenery that is unparalleled. The Flight See was amazing and our traveling companions interesting and fun.

Loved this trip. I would certainly rank this as one of my best vacations. There was plenty of opportunity to explore on your own and there was so much beauty to see. The food was fabulous and the accommodations could not be beat. There was a real attention to detail. September was a wonderful time of year to travel.

Most Memorable Moment:

Loved Zion National Park. The trails and beauty were unparalleled.I definitely could have stayed longer.

I have just returned from the American Canyonlands tour. It was the first guided tour that I have ever taken. The tour exceeded my most hopeful expectations both in terms of the travel destinations and our of fellow travelers. We really enjoyed being able to stay in each of the National Parks that we visited and to walk the trails at our own pace

Most Memorable Moment:

The most memorable time on the tour for me was the raft trip on the Colorado River in Glen Canyon. It was so serene and beautiful.

The trip was well orchestrated from start to finish. The transportation was always on time, very clean and comfortable. The rooms were always the best available and provided the best views and proximity to the parks. The food, including that provided in the National Parks was first class. Tauck did a wonderful job of coordinating everything.

Most Memorable Moment:

Being able to see our National Parks via the best available means ensured a great trip. That means: great accomodations, good food and superior Tauck hospitality.

The hotels and food were better than expected and this part of the country is magnificent. Tauck did a great job at organizing a wonderful tour. On the other hand our tour director was horrible. He did not go above and beyond at all. He was inappropriate and was the only part of the trip that was below standards. Sorry Tauck !

The trip exceeded my expectations. I experienced so much more than I anticipated. This was my first Tauck trip and I will book again with Tauck with confidence.

Most Memorable Moment:

It is difficult to choose one moment as most memorable. Perhaps it was the raft trip down Colorado but then walking through Antelope Canyon was also memorable as was the morning horseback ride to floor of Bryce Canyon and on and on. There were MANY memorable moments. Not to mention MANY memorable views.

This is a great trip to see how beautiful our country truly is. We stayed an extra day at the 4 Seasons in Phoenix, which is beautiful but in the middle of nowhere. We planned on going into Phoenix on our extra day until we inquired about the cost of a taxi, which was $60+ one way. But the trip, food and our tour guide were wonderful.

Most Memorable Moment:

It's hard to say. We thought the Grand Canyon was great until we went to Bryce, Zion and Glen Canyon and Lake Powell. Each is beautiful in its own way. I loved the tour and fun ride to Antelope Canyon. We took the optional flight to Monument Valley and that was breathtaking.

It was really wonderful. I'm a 48 and last year told my Mom for her 80th birthday she could go anywhere in the world. She had been on this same trip 20 years ago and wanted to see it again. I invited my brother Richard and my other brother's son (my nephew) Brian to join us. We had an amazing time. Tauck is the way to go!

Most Memorable Moment:

Walking out to see the Grand Canyon in all it's majesty was simply incredible. You will never see anything like this in any other part of the world. See America first rang true for me and Tauck got us up close and personal. There were Elks outside of our hotel windows in the morning! Bryce Canyon was also simply incredible, breathtaking!

It was brilliant. Just 11 of us in a 50 seater coach with the undivided attention of our superb tour director and driver taking us through sensational landscape. I remain overwhelmed by the scale and beauty of the canyons, and delighted with the standard of accommodation and Tauck's attention to detail. Can't recommend highly enough!

Most Memorable Moment:

The flight in a small plane from Page, Lake Powell, to Monument Valley. It really does exist, it's not just a film set; seeing the landscape and the vastness of the territory within this sacred Navajo heartland as well as the geology surrounding it, both from the air and the ground, was utterly thrilling and moving.

Our tour director, Andy, and our bus driver, John, were outstanding. Andy's incredible knowledge enhanced our experiences; his professionalism and caring made us all feel like royalty.

Most Memorable Moment:

I think going up the trail to Angel's landing in Zion was an incredible experience - seeing the vistas and wildlife (observed a mother and baby owl along the way)was awesome, and hiking up along Walter's Wiggle was quite an accomplishment! Walking through Antelope Slot Canyon at Lake Powell was a mesmerizing and mystical moment.

Tauck did a great job of dividing the time for each and gave us enough time to explore on our own. The tour guide was great and had lots of useful information.

Tauck, probably the best in the business. We wanted a small group tour to be more comfortable. The motor coach seats were cramped and would have been very uncomfortable had we had to seat two people together. No problem with the food and drinks. Andy was great. Handouts could have been more professional since this trip is not new.

Most Memorable Moment:

Bryce and Zion are the best. Grand Canyon is also great, but you don't have a good feel since you are only on the rim.

It was a very beautiful, relaxing, informative way to view a part of the Northern Arizona and Utah as our first trip to this area. I can not give enough praise to our tour guide and the staff at Tauck. The transportion manager, Mr. Taylor and Andy, our guide out did themselves. Kudas to everyone.

Most Memorable Moment:

It is very difficult to select one moment out of all the contrasts seen. All the canyons were grand in their own ways. I believe I liked the plane ride over Lake Powell, the float trip down the river from Glen Canyon Dam. We have a somewhat difficult time walking, but was able to do the tour with no problems and feel we did not miss anything.
