On the road for 6 days - just enough time to see and enjoy the beauty. Pikes Peak - great Jeep ride - excellent drivers. Garden of the Gods was impressive. Vail was beautiful. Leadville - at almost 2 miles was historic, interesting shops. Denver- Museums! Boulder- awesome Hot Air Balloon ride. Great flight conditions. Celestial Seasonings- just fun

Most Memorable Moment:

Boulder and the Hit Air Balloon ride- very happy the weather and flying conditions were good.

Nothing special, including the Tauck director. This was our 13th tour with Tauck. Something needs to be done to make it special.

Most Memorable Moment:

Colorado Memories

We had been to Colorado in the past, but this tour reintroduced us to the state's beauty. We especially appreciated the nice blend of tour and free time, as the locations offered many ways to personalize our experience. Our tour director was entertaining, caring and efficient. The hotels were outstanding and we loved the Ken Burns films!

Most Memorable Moment:

Most memorable were the Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, the cooking demonstration at the Four Seasons, and the camaraderie of our fellow travelers.

What could go wrong, did go wrong, but everything was ALL GOOD! It snowed in Vail (1st of season), which meant (1) trip to Pike's Peak was incredibly COLD, (2) our trip to Leadville did not include a stop in town - NO POWER and (3) we had to be vectored AROUND the National Park to the other less-beautiful side. Hot air balloon ride canceled.

Most Memorable Moment:

ASPENS! and Betty Ford gardens under NEW snow fall in Vail. Alicia did a great job of changing plans, working with alternative choices (i.e. no hot air balloon ride), finding places to eat that hadn't been on the agenda, etc. We truly lucked out on this trip, as had we been one week LATER, no ASPEN and LOTS OF SNOW!!!

Our tour was only the second group taking the Colorado: Denver, Boulder, & the Rockies trip in June of 2017. This was our eighth Tauck tour; we wondered if a new tour would run as efficiently as our past tours. Everything was organized and wonderful from beginning to end! The hotels were unique and fascinating. Our director was fabulous!

Most Memorable Moment:

The top three moments were the cog rail ride to Pike's Peak, the hot air balloon ride in Boulder, and the cooking demonstration and tour of the Four Seasons kitchens in Vail.
